It might seem complicated, and will certainly take a lot more time to someone who is accustomed to the faster pace of web writing, however print magazine articles can still be very lucrative. Even with the decline in advertising, and some magazines going out of business, other publications are starting up new every day and eager for good quality content.
A print magazine feature allows more room for a freelance writer to share their thoughts and opinions on topic. Instead of condensing everything down into 400 or 500 words, writers gets full-length feature pieces. Instead of writing very focused, super-niche articles, a freelance writer can look at the topic from multiple view points.
These three ideas are basic, but can be implemented by any freelance writer who wants to increase the potential revenue stream from their online writing careers.
